Back to School Extravaganza flyer

The district is hosting a district-wide Back to School Extravaganza event from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 27 and from 1-6 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 29 at WBLAHS - North Campus (5045 Division Ave., WBL).

A community-wide open house to celebrate the opening of the White Bear Lake Area School District's new elementary school, North Star Elementary, will take place from 3-6 p.m. on Thursday, August 25.

Free Senior Activity Pass

Senior community members (age 65+) who live in the District are invited to participate in the Senior Activities Pass program and enjoy complimentary admission to school activities.

At the July 11 regular meeting, the White Bear Lake Area School Board unanimously voted in favor of placing a capital projects levy renewal question on the November ballot. The funds will be used for safety and security equipment; technology and related services; textbooks, curriculum materials and equipment, and musical instruments; and transportation.

Updated Strategic Plan Approved

At the August 8, 2022 School Board meeting, the Board heard an update of the District's Strategic Planning process and approved four updated strategies.

District leaders took part in a groundbreaking ceremony at Otter Lake Elementary to celebrate additions happening at the school. The project is part of the district-wide comprehensive facilities plan which was made possible through the community’s support of the 2019 bond referendum.

The district’s most recent 4-year graduation rate, released by MDE this week, tops the state’s graduation rate by almost eight percentage points, and WBLAHS - South Campus is in the top tier of high schools in the entire metro area.

Groundbreaking ceremonies took place in mid-December to celebrate additions happening at two of our elementary schools - Birch Lake and Lakeaires Elementary.
